Help & Tutorials
Practical setup notes for building the week, fixing mistakes, and getting hours ready before payroll asks.
Quick Start — 5 steps to your first schedule
Add your team
Create a free account, then add each person in Employees. Start with name, wage, overtime rules, and available days. You can polish the rest later.
Create a schedule week
Go to Schedule, click "New Week", pick the start date, and give it a useful label. "May long weekend" beats mystery week #7.
Add shifts
Inside the week, click "+" where the employee and day meet. Set the start and end time, then save before the phone rings.
Finalize the week
Once the week is done, record actual hours worked, then finalize it for payroll. This is where you catch the 20-minute close that ran long.
View payroll & tips
Open Payroll from the schedule week for cost summaries. Open Tips when you need to split the daily pool by real hours worked.
Common manager workflows
For the moments when you do not want a manual, you want the right next click.
Publish a schedule without chaos
Build the week, check overtime, then publish one version your team can trust. No screenshot archaeology later.
Open ScheduleGet ready for payroll
Review actual hours, lock the week, and export clean payroll numbers before the bookkeeper asks twice.
Open DashboardFix tip split questions
Check group percentages, employee assignments, and daily hours when a payout looks off after service.
Open TipsHandle former employees
Removed employees stay visible in old weeks where they worked, but they will not appear when you build a new schedule.
