Where do I download the app?
On iPhone and iPad, download Maxuod Shift from the App Store. On Android and desktop there is no store app yet, so use the browser version and install it from the browser if you want it on your home screen or dock.
Can I give my staff a code to scan?
Yes. The iPhone and iPad page on this site shows a QR code that opens the App Store listing. Print it or show it on a screen during a shift briefing; staff scan it with the iPhone camera, install the app, then open your invite email on the same device to join the workplace.
Is there a native iOS or Android app?
Yes on iPhone and iPad: Maxuod Shift 1.0 is published on the App Store. It is not a WebView wrapper; it uses native screens, mobile sign-in, role-based tabs, and App Store billing. The Android build exists in the codebase but is not published to Google Play yet.
How do employee accounts work on web and app?
Managers create an invite for an existing employee profile. The email opens /employee/invite, and employees choose Employee inside the shared /login card before accepting the invite and landing in /employee. The Manager and Employee buttons switch the card in place without opening a second login page; the card keeps one stable height and position while the role copy changes. Employees can update their name and avatar. The web portal uses a centered square crop, while the native app shows the platform crop UI; both compress the image to a maximum of 512 x 512 px before upload. Availability edits only work when a manager enables them. Managers receive email and in-app notifications when employees make those updates.
